HB3943 would outlaw 50 BMG ammunition and any magazine that can hold 30 rounds or more

SB1922 would provide for relief from firearms prohibitions by the state for those convicted under certain federal laws

SB1760 would create electronic FOID cards

SB1763 would allow carrying firearms at DOT rest areas

SB2300 would create 10% tax on 'assault weapons' and high capacity magazines

SB2267 would require the state police to renew firearm licenses within 90 or they will be automatically renewed

SB2169 would require any legislator that wishes to file a firearm related bill to have taken the firearm course required to become a private detective

SB2217 would allow for the issuing of non-resident carry licenses without the requirement that the requirements for such permit in their home state be similar to Illinois requirements

SB1937 would make it legal to carry in DOT rest areas, municipal parks and public transportation

SB2017 would create a state level firearm violence program

HB0562 contains Senate amendment 002 which requires anyone that transfers a firearm to keep a record of the transfer and to provide a copy of that transfer to an FFL within 10 days of the transfer
