This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for Hawaii.

Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

HB25 would prohibit anyone from storing firearms or ammunition in hotel rooms

HB342 would prohibit any investment in firearm companies by the Hawaii Strategic Development Corporation

HB720 would make it a crime to not report lost or stolen firearms

SB237 would raise the maximum number of rounds a pistol magazine can hold up to 17 (was 10)

SB238 would make the state a shall issue state

SB245 would make it legal to own stun guns

SB305 would eliminate the ban on stun guns

SB556 would prohibit anyone on the terrorist watch list from buying firearms

SB600 would prohibit anyone under 21 from bringing a firearm into the state

SB621 would require all lost or stolen firearms to be reported to police

HB1160 would make shooting ranges immune from civil liability in regards to noise complaints

HB1206 would require the state to notify homeland security during a background check process to see if the person is on the terrorist watch list

HB1303 would ban 'assault weapons'

HB1473 would legalize ownership of stun guns

HB1486 would require training for anyone wishing to own or carry a firearm

HB1543 would create 'gun violence protection orders'

HB879 would require anyone bringing a firearm into the state to register it within 5 days

HB884 would allow police to issue licenses to carry from anyone who lives in any county in the state

SB1318 would require anyone wishing to conceal or open carry complete a course of instruction and firearm qualification test
