This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for Hawaii.

Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

Starting off:

HB13 would allow off duty correction officers to carry without a permit

HB36 would make the state a shall issue state

SB9 would require anyone that owns, or wants to buy, a firearm to have liability insurance

SB212 would make the state a shall issue state

SB213 would raise the magazine capacity limit from 10 rounds to 17

New last week:

SB1096 would grant immunity to shooting ranges for noise among other things

HB1345 would make anyone on the terrorist watch list a prohibited person

HB1583 would set up gun violence protection orders

HB1589 would legalize suppressors for hunting
